Happy Birthday Sean!

Making wishes.

Sean and Jordan cutting the cake.

Smushing of the cake.

Sean shares his June 29th birthday with Jordan, one of the very first friends he made when we moved to Cedar Hills. So it was only appropriate that they celebrated their birthdays together at an awesome barbeque and outdoor movie over by Jordan's house. His Boy Elroy put on a great show for the crowd, debuting two brand spankin' new songs, as well as playing some of their older songs from their cd.

The celebration continued on Saturday when we had a fun night at Pollo Loco with Mom and Marian and Ashley and Jordan, followed by a game of Scotland Yard (I didn't do so well on that . . . ahem, sorry fellow detectives) followed by a bit of night frisbee, well, actually a lot of night frisbee keeping the neighbors up until around 11:30.

And more celebrating on Sunday . . .

Sean continues to amaze and almost overwhelm me with his maturity and uncanny insights into what makes people tick and what makes them happy. He is so aware of other's feelings, and he responds to the needs of others with gentleness and a Christ-like love that sets him apart from most teenage boys. I am so proud of him, and love him with all of my soul--with all of my heart.
