Today Mister Christian participated in a full day of percussion clinics and competitions open to all of the percussion kids in the state of Utah, and you guessed it! Christian took first place on the drumset at the junor high level! Holy mackerel is that kid good! His win earned him a pretty sweet bag of swag and a lot of respect from his peers and teachers. I'm telling you, he's the next Buddy Rich!
A particularly sweet moment came for me when, as Sean and Christian were walking ahead of me out of the school auditorium after the awards were made, big brother threw his arm over the shoulder of younger brother in a tender show of affection and admiration. Sweet indeed.
